There have been numerous scientific studies linking music and the arts to math and sciences. Back when I was in College we discussed a few of them in some of my music education classes. I find the topic extremely fascinating, and looking back I wish I would have followed it more closely.

I have been playing/studying music considering that I was 5 years old. According to all of these scientific studies, it need to come as no surprise that math and sciences had been my strongest subjects in school. Math in particular comes quite simply to me. It usually has ever given that I was young.

In college I studied music as nicely. I also took a large quantity of courses in science, especially biology and chemistry. Just like math, this came effortless to me as nicely. I wasn’t working practically as tough as the other students in the class to obtain high test scores.
